I burned 100M+ tokens through subagents in 8 hours
I locked myself in a room to build this.
Yesterday I burned through 100M+ tokens in 8 hours using subagents. On paper, that sounds like leverage. In practice, it felt like trying to keep up with a machine that was producing more motion than clarity.
That’s what this stream is about.
Not a polished demo. Not a launch. Not “look how many agents I can run.” The less flattering reality is that more agents doesn’t automatically mean more understanding. It means more threads to follow, more context to hold, more chances to
lose the plot.
32 people watched the last stream. That’s a real room. And I’m grateful for it. But when the stream ended, I was still alone with the same pressure: sorting signal from noise, figuring out what mattered, and trying to turn all that activity
into something I could actually trust.
So I’m back.
This session is me trying to keep up with the agents without pretending I already have control of the system. Just staying with the work long enough to understand what survives and what falls apart.
If you’ve ever felt like the tools are moving faster than your ability to make sense of them, you’ll probably understand this.
No performance. No fake certainty. Just the real thing.
