First stream after a sick week.
Anthropic and OpenAI both signed deals with asset managers this week to push enterprise AI through finance partners. The shape of how AI gets sold into companies is being decided right now. It is not a model launch story. It is a distribution story, and distribution is what makes platforms compound.
The session story is closer to home. I got sick last week and could not stream. The room stayed locked. I was not in it. That is the honest start to this one.
Last night, recovering, I came back to the keyboard. The planning queue had moved without me.
A new operating mode landed: REFACTOR_MODE.md. Same shape as STREAM_MODE.md. Different job. It packages how a heavy refactor session should run, with a no-hard-coded-product-artifact policy at the top.
The vault question got real. Vault is for users' API keys, scoped to deployed agents only. Not for the builder's own development secrets. Identity binds to vault for users' agents' ACL, not for personal stuff. Backyard is where deployed agents read from. The builder reads from .env like everyone else.
Three separate Codex sessions came back with the same word. Approved. Three different working contexts, same conclusion. That is not consensus theater. That is the planning step doing its job before the execution step opens.
This is the first stream in a week. It picks up where the agents left off.
The interesting thing about running an engineering operation with agents is that the planning step often finishes without you. While the human is recovering, sleeping it off, drinking water, or just down with the flu, the agents converge. By the time the human opens a stream, there is a pile of approved targets waiting.
If you code and you also have weeks where the body just stops, this stream is what the other side looks like. The work waits. You come back. The targets are still there, sharper than when you left.
Today the targets are simple. Run the refactor that got approved. Lock vault to deployed agents only. Check whether the operating mode pattern holds up under real pressure.
This is one chapter inside a longer thing. I locked myself in a room to build Graphyn until it ships. The streams are the build, not a recap of the build. Sick weeks happen. The room stays locked anyway. The product gets closer.
Co-working friendly. AI radio in the background. 8 to 10 hours.
