OpenAI launched a ten billion dollar private-equity vehicle yesterday called the OpenAI Deployment Company. It bought a consultancy at the same time, with the stated goal of pushing AI integration deeper into enterprise operations. The Information broke the news. That changes the channel question. The integration partner you used to hire to wire a model into your stack is now competing with a model-provider-owned firm. The model provider is no longer just selling tokens.
