OpenAI launched GPT-5.4-Cyber. I'm building the persistence layer.
OpenAI launched GPT-5.4-Cyber. That is the cleanest builder timestamp in the last 24 hours. Not because this is a cyber stream. Because it points at the same direction from a different side. The stack is getting more serious. Infrastructure, governance, and controlled deployment are moving closer to the center. My own work kept pointing to the same pressure from another side. Desktop, mobile, terminal, hosted agents, local agents. More places to run. The same problem when the session starts. A good session still does not carry forward cleanly. Yesterday the work kept running into that from every angle. Provider-specific logic kept sneaking back in. Old terminal fixes had to be recovered from history. Install paths were still too tool-shaped. The useful setup was still too lucky, too local, too fragile. So this session is still about the persistence layer. Not memory as a vague promise. A real layer that lets a mode, skill, lens, or mcp survive the jump between Graphyn, Claude Code, Codex, and whatever comes next. I want the good session to become portable. I want the setup tax to shrink. I want the useful thing to exist outside the one machine, one shell, one lucky run where it first worked. If you code and feel like half your week disappears into rebuilding the same context, you probably know this feeling. The surfaces keep multiplying. The carry-forward still doesn't. So this morning is simple. Same build. Cleaner framing. Less noise. 8 to 10 hours. AI radio on. Just the real thing. OpenAI signal: https://openai.com/index/scaling-trusted-access-for-cyber-defense/
